Looking for a ‘Ready To-Go’ Drop-Shipping store?

Starting a Drop-Shipping E-Commerce business will require you to first build a website which your customers can use to order products from. Two of the most popular website creation platforms are Shopify and WordPress and I actually wrote a whole article comparing both of them in order to help you choose which is the best for you. You can check it out here.

Now, If you feel overwhelmed and confused about the whole store creation process then that’s totally fine. Today I would like to introduce you to the DeltaK ‘Ready To Go’ Drop-Shipping store creation service and let you know more about it and why it can be good for you.

What is it?

‘Ready To Go’ Drop-Shipping stores is a service that we came up with a few months ago after seeing many people struggling with the store creation process when setting up their Drop-Shipping business. People who don’t have a lot of experience with the digital world and online tools, are ofter overwhelmed when they decide to start their E-Commerce Drop-Shipping business and setup their first website. Our service solves this problem by providing a range of Shopify stores that are fully setup and ready to start accepting orders from customers.

What's Included:

These stores are carefully setup by our team and have all the necessary elements that a Drop-Shipping store should have. These include a premium theme that gives the store a clean and professional look. Most importantly all stores have between 20-25 products imported from high-rated suppliers on Aliexpress.com , and have a large number of orders which shows that they are very good sellers. Every product is also synced with the Oberlo app, which allows the store owner to quickly fulfill orders with AliExpress and import new products to the store, making the Drop-Shipping model simple and more efficient. Further more, every store has all its menus and pages setup resulting to a ‘Ready To-Go’ store.

And you also get...

Another important thing you get with a ‘Ready To-Go’ store is support! When you get started it is inevitable that you are going to have many questions. Questions such as, “What payment gateway do I use to collect payments from my customers?” or “How do I contact my suppliers?” or “How do I fulfill orders?” , are very common and it always makes it so much easier when you have a team of experts ready to give you the answer you are looking for.

So you may be asking if this is for you or not. The answer is simple. If you are not very tech savvy, don’t really enjoy all the technical aspects of setting up a drop-shipping business, or maybe don’t have time to learn all the steps required to get your store running, then our ‘Ready-To Go’ stores are definitely something you should check out. Shopify Or WordPress? – An Honest Opinion

Deciding which platform is right for you is often quite difficult when you are not able to try them all them all out before choosing one. You often have to reply on reviews and experiences that other people had which are most commonly one-sided because not everyone has tried multiple platforms. I have been asked the question “Which platform is best to build an E-Commerce site on’ multiple times. Today I would like to give you an honest opinion on whether Shopify or WordPress is the right platform for you to build your E-Commerce store with. I use both of them on a daily basis to create stores for both myself and my customers therefore I would like to give you a break down of all the aspects you should consider when choosing which of these two platforms is the right one for you.

1. What is Shopify and WordPress

I would first like to explain what Shopify is and how it is different to WordPress so you can get the idea of what we are talking about. Shopify is an E-Commerce store development platform that was build with one goal in mind – to allow anyone to create an E-Commerce site. That’s all it does and it does it extremely well. On the other hand WordPress is a website creation assistant tool that can be installed on a website in order to provide a user-friendly interface for anyone to create a website with. With that being said, WordPress is currently used my millions of people and business around the world and it is definitely an amazing tool that can help you create the website of your dreams.

2. Ease of use

This is something you have probably heard multiple times but the truth is that WordPress is not as easy to use compared to Shopify. As I mentioned above WordPress is a tool that can help you build the website of your dreams – A website with endless capabilities. In order for this to happen WordPress offers many different settings and options which might make it a little overwhelming for a non-technical user. WordPress also requires regular updates and backups which once again make the whole experience a little more frustrating. When it comes to building E-Commerce sites, Shopify is by far a cleaner and way easier platform to use due to the fact that it is only used for one purpose, to create E-Commerce stores. Whether you are tech savvy or not, when it comes to ease of use the clear winner will always be Shopify. However, before jumping to quick conclusions it is good to consider the points mentioned below which can have an effect on your decision.

3. Cost

Due to the rising number of new entrepreneurs and people who want to start their own business with little or no cash, the cost of these platforms and tools has always been an important factor. In order to run a Shopify store you will need to pay $29 a month. In order to get a WordPress site up and running you only need $3-4 a month, which will be the fee for your website hosting (paid in advance for 12 months). Now, that is indeed a big difference however I will like to mention the two important things that Shopify offers which WordPress doesn’t. These are:

  • Ease of use/ Simple Interface
  • 24 Hour/Live Chat Support

Yes that’s right, WordPress will give you all the functionalities that Shopify does however Shopify offers the above two things that make the biggest difference in people’s decision. Remember, most people are not tech savvy, they want things to just work for them without much effort, to the point where they will pay $25 more every month. We can now draw a nice, simple conclusion which is:

“If you are not tech savvy go with Shopify, if you are and don’t mind a steeper learning curve, go with WordPress”

It’s as simple as that and it is absolutely true. Can wordpress be mastered? Absolutely! It just takes a little more time and patience.

4. Capabilities / Themes

As I mentioned, there is nothing you can’t do with WordPress. It has more than 29,000 plugins. Any feature you want your website to have, there will be a plugin for it. Shopify also has a large collection of plugins and add-ons but they are more based on the store’s back-end features rather than front-end website features. When it comes to website themes, WordPress definitely wins due to the endless themes that have been created for it all these years. Don’t get me wrong though, Shopify also has many themes that can be installed on any store.

5. Which is my favorite platform?

I like both and use both. For my personal websites I will use WordPress when I want to build a store with unique functionalities and looks but if I want to build a quick E-Commerce store and start selling right away then my go-to platform is definitely Shopify. When it comes to my customers though, I recommend using Shopify because of its simplicity and ease of use.

6. Conclusion:

So there you have it, my opinion on the two biggest E-Commerce store creation platforms. As you can see it mostly comes down to the capabilities you want your website to have, the cost and the ease of use. This means there is no winner. You just need to write down everything you need and then go through the above points one by one until you have a clear winner for your case.

Professional Store Development

If you are not very techie, good with design or don’t have enough time then the setup and development of your store is something you might want to outsource and let a professional do the job for you. If you are looking for the best and most affordable E-Commerce development packages then you are definitely at the right place.

Why you can’t start a Drop-Shipping business for free

Why you can't start a Drop-Shipping business for free!

I know that by now you heard all the gurus out there tell you how easy it easy to start a drop-shipping business and all those lies about how you don’t need to invest any money when getting started. Starting a drop-shipping business can definitely be much cheaper than starting a physical business or any other type of E-Commerce business however it is not FREE! There are a few things that you need to invest in before you can really get started. Below I will get into each one of the things that you need to initially invest in when starting a drop-shipping business and how much it will cost you on average.

1. Web Hosting And Domain

Starting a Drop-Shipping E-Commerce business will require you to first build a website which your customers can use to order products from. Two of the most popular website creation platforms are Shopify and WordPress and I actually wrote a whole article comparing both of them in order to help you choose which is the best for you. You can check it out here.

Whether you choose to host your drop-shipping site on Shopify or WooCommerce or any other platform, you will always need to pay a fee to do so. Heck, even if you have your own home server to host the website on you still need to pay money to buy one. So that’s definitely something that will cost you some money to start with. If you choose to go with Shopify then you will need to pay a minimum of $29 a month in order to run your store. If you choose to build your site on WordPress using the WooCommerce plugin, you will have to invest in web hosting from companies such as BlueHost or HostGator which will cost you arout $3.5 a month (The catch is that you have to pay for a whole year (12 months) upfront). Now, you might be asking which is the best choice for me? I will be writing an article about this very soon, stay tuned.

Together with hosting you will also need a domain for your store. This is not a huge expense but it will cost you around $10 – $15 annually to own a .com domain. A premium domain will make your site look better and will increase the trust factor, which will of course lead to higher conversion rates.

2. Decent Advertising Budget

Now, you might have come across many different opinions on this one however I would like to give you my honest opinion based on both my experience as well as the experience of 90% of beginners I know, who have starter a drop-shipping business.

Many gurus out there will tell you that you can easily start making money with your drop-shipping store by investing as little as $5 dollars on a Facebook AD. This myth has been going on around for ages and it just can’t be further from the truth… (Spoiler: They just want you to buy their course). Success never comes without failure, and you know this pretty damn well if you’ve been in the game of business or have been trying to achieve your goals for quite a long time. If you understand this then there is nothing that should make you think that by running a single Facebook AD will make you succeed from the first try (unless you are in that 0.0000001% of people who got lucky on the first try). Facebook Ads, like everything else, takes practice and lots of testing. In reality what the gurus are trying to say, or trying not to ;),  is that for every product you are planning to run ads for you need to spend $5 for 3 ad-sets that will all run for at least 3-5 days until you have enough data from Facebook to make a wise choice whether the product is worth all the testing. That’s $45 – $75 PER PRODUCT! Oh and guess what… as a beginner you will usually need to test between 5-10 products until you find one that actually sells well with your choice of audiences.

So would it be fair to say that you will need at least $750 to just deep your toes the water and start gaining some experience with product testing? Now, because I like to be very honest with you I will cut to the chase and advise you that if you don’t have at least $2,000 -$3,000 ready to invest in your drop-shipping business you should not start. Why? Because product testing takes money and you can not be emotional about it. You need to be ready to invest money without thinking about it, therefore it is much better to have a larger budget to play around with than a small one. The reason for this is because if you only have a small budget and need to get a job every time you run out of money while testing products you will end up doing what 90% of people who start a drop-shipping business end up doing…. GIVING UP AND QUITTING!

3. Mentorship

When it comes to mentorship I know that you might already have a lot of resources you are getting information from and that’s awesome! There are many communities and gurus out there sharing tons of very valuable information in order to build trust and grow a large following. The problem is, there are so many opinions out there that it only causes you to waste time and get overwhelmed. As Gary Vee says, stop strategising! TAKE ACTION!

The best thing you can do is find a mentor that has reached the level you want to reach and listen to what they say and most importantly, take action. Sticking to one source of free information can also work for this part however from my experience when you PAY for something you most often PAY ATTENTION. When you get something for free it is so much easier to get destructed and lose focus just because you didn’t work to earn that material.

Conclusion:

So you now know everything you need to successfully start an Drop-Shipping business. Most importantly you should have now realised that you can’t start a Drop-Shipping business for free, unless you already have everything I mentioned above. You can always try and do it without these things and hope in getting lucky, however your chances of succeeding will be very limited. My advice to you is to save up some money and start your business with a strong budget that will allow you to get all the tools you need and fail multiple times without having the need to quit due to money shortage.
